Settings

Settings split into two areas: Organization (admin-only) and Personal (every user). Organization settings control how your school or club operates. Personal settings control your own account.

Settings Overview

Organization Profile

Your org profile is what students and renters see. It shows up on invoices, booking confirmations, and the member portal.

Setting	Purpose
Name	What appears on invoices and throughout the app. E.g., “Midwest Flight Academy”
Contact	Your field address, dispatch phone, and ops email
Logo	Your brand mark — shows on invoices, the portal, and email headers
Timezone	All times display in this zone. Set it to your home field. E.g., “America/Chicago” for KORD

Subscription

Your subscription determines how many aircraft, members, and features you can use. Check usage here before you hit a limit.

Stripe Connect

You need a Stripe Connect account to collect payments from students and renters. This is how rental fees, instructor charges, and fuel surcharges flow into your bank account.

Stripe Connect requires business information and verification. Allow time for this process.

Billing Rates

Set your hourly rates here. You’ll define defaults, then override per aircraft or per instructor as needed. A Cessna 172 at $165/hr wet and a Cirrus SR22 at $295/hr wet can coexist under the same org.

Default aircraft	Applies to every aircraft unless you override it. E.g., $155/hr Hobbs
Per aircraft	Override for a specific tail. E.g., N737WW at $210/hr
Default instructor	Applies to all CFIs unless overridden. E.g., $65/hr
Per instructor	Override for a specific CFI. E.g., CFII dual rate at $85/hr

Scheduling Rules

Control when and how members book aircraft. These rules prevent conflicts, no-shows, and scheduling abuse.

Setting	Example
Operating hours	0700L to 2100L (local field time)
Minimum duration	1.0 hr — prevents 15-minute hold-the-plane bookings
Maximum duration	4.0 hr — keeps cross-countries from blocking the schedule
Advance booking	14 days out — stops members from hoarding slots months ahead
Cancellation	24 hrs notice required or a $25 late-cancel fee applies

Weather Minimums

Set the weather floor for your operation. When current METAR or TAF data breaches a threshold, WingWrangler flags the booking with a weather advisory. Your dispatchers and CFIs see it before anyone drives to the field.

Wind	Above your threshold. E.g., > 20 kts

Endorsement Library

Manage the endorsements your CFIs can issue. FAA-standard endorsements (solo, knowledge test, practical test) come built in. Add custom endorsements for your own checkout procedures — high-performance checkout, complex checkout, mountain flying, whatever your operation requires.

Personal Settings

Every user — admin, CFI, student, renter — controls their own profile, security, notification preferences, and payment methods here.

Security Settings

Lock down your account. Two-factor auth is strongly recommended — especially for admins and CFIs who handle endorsements and billing.

Password	Change your login credential
Two factor	Add TOTP-based second factor (use any authenticator app)
Sessions	See every device you’re logged in on. Revoke any you don’t recognize.

Payment Methods

Add the card you’ll use to pay for rentals, instruction, and fees. You can store multiple cards and pick a primary.

Caution

Payment methods are stored securely through Stripe. Remove cards you no longer use.

Connect external services to your WingWrangler org. Available integrations depend on your subscription tier.
